Future Reference is live — get to digitizing your closet!
If you’re here, we love you for helping us Beta test Future Reference – the ultimate digital wardrobe, built for resale. We want to make peer-to-peer resale easier and empower you to get value from your closet as your style evolves. So thanks for being with us from the beginning!
You all are our first users (and we can't thank you enough), so if you see any issues or have thoughts, please send feedback using the button in the top right.
Today you can
- Add items to your digital wardrobe. We make it dead simple. Paste the link, email us the receipt, search our database, or use our Chrome Extension to save as you shop.
- Get resale insights. For each item you archive, we provide a resale estimate for what that item will be worth 1 year from purchase. Click into each item to see recent sales from the same category.
- Post to Poshmark lightning fast. With the original info saved, we can reduce listing from 12 fields to just 4. While we're building our marketplace, we'll let you post to Poshmark to show how easy it can be.
- Browse our community’s closets. See what our community is buying, and add items to your wishlist to get updates on future listings.
What's ahead
As many of you know, we are building a marketplace. Today, we are a small and nimble team, so hold tight, good things are coming soon:
- Track listings across other marketplaces: Wishlist an item, and we'll let you know when a listing is posted – even if it's on other marketplaces like Poshmark or Vestiaire Collective.
After that:
- Buy and sell directly on Future Reference: We'll be building out listings, including offers and checkout, and tracking for sales and purchases.
- Gmail integration: Soon you’ll be able to link your Gmail to automatically upload and verify your items through the receipts of our supported partners.
